One of the last of the original great artists in St Ives in my humble opinion, John has a character that is infectious and ever so interesting with his stories of good times with his stories and tales of the good old days with Heron and Frost, drinking and swimming, wheeling and dealing in artworks. In his nineties now, he lives next door to our office, ill always make time for a natter when I see him in the street. I had never had a whisky in my tea until I met John.
